The Rev / Ball Motion Trainer
See what your release does to ball motion.
The Rev / Ball Motion Trainer holds your bowling ball on rollers so you can practice your release in a controlled setting and watch the motion you create. Its elongated design gives the ball six inches of room to move during the release, making it easier to see the relationship between hand position, finger action, revolutions, and axis rotation.
Place your ball on the rollers and settle into a balanced post position beside the trainer. Start with your hand behind the ball. Let your thumb exit first and your fingers come through last to create rotation. Then try different hand positions and watch how the ball’s motion changes. Focus on coming out of the ball rather than pushing it off the rollers.
We make our Rev / Ball Motion Trainer with highly polished, made-in-the-USA steel rollers. That roller quality matters when your own bowling ball is resting and moving on the trainer—and it’s a difference to look for when comparing ours with knock-offs that use rough or pitted rollers.
Begin with a smooth, controlled release; add speed as the motion becomes familiar. Feel the release, see the result, and adjust with purpose.
